Privacy Policy

Who we are#

This policy covers the Wity website, the Playground and the Wity API (together, the “Service”), operated by Wity (“we”, “us”). It does not cover Wity deployed on your own premises: there, the model runs inside your network and your data never reaches us.

What you send to the API#

The state, instructions, options, images and other content in your requests, and the answers Wity returns (together, “Content”), are processed only to produce the response.

• Request and response bodies are not logged or stored after the response is sent.
• When sessions arrive, a session will hold the context you add to it only while it is open, so later calls can build on it. That context will not be kept once the session ends or expires.
• We do not use your Content to train or improve models.
• We do not look at your Content, except when you send it to us yourself, for example to report a problem.

What we do collect#

• Operational records. For each API request: which key made it, when, its status, how long it took and its token count (usage.input_tokens). We use these to run the service, stop abuse and bill you.
• Account details. When you request an API key or arrange billing: your name, email address, company and billing details.
• Correspondence. What you write when you email us.
• Site analytics. We use Vercel Web Analytics to count page views. It uses no cookies and does not identify or follow individual visitors across sites.
• Playground rate limiting. The Playground uses your IP address to limit how many runs one visitor can make in a few minutes. It is held in memory only and discarded when the limit window passes.

Cookies#

The website sets no cookies and uses no advertising or cross-site tracking. If that changes, we will update this page first.

How we use it#

• To provide, secure and operate the Service, including preventing abuse and fixing faults.
• To bill you and reconcile usage.
• To reply to you and send notices about your account or changes to the Service.
• To meet legal obligations.

We do not sell personal data, share it for advertising, or use it for any purpose not listed here.

Who we share it with#

We use a small number of service providers to host the website and API and to handle email and payments. They process data only on our instructions and only to provide their service to us. We may also disclose information when the law requires it, or to protect the Service and its users from fraud or abuse. If Wity is involved in a merger or acquisition, this policy continues to apply to data transferred as part of it.

How long we keep it#

• Content: not retained after the response is sent.
• Operational records: as long as needed for security and billing, and no longer than required by law.
• Account details and correspondence: while your account is active, then as long as the law requires.

Security#

All traffic to the API is encrypted in transit, API keys are kept server-side, and access to production systems is restricted. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your data, we will tell you without undue delay.

Your rights#

You can ask us to access, correct, export or delete the personal data we hold about you, or object to how we use it. Depending on where you live, you may have further rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA, including the right to complain to your local data protection authority. Email us and we will respond within 30 days.

International transfers#

We and our providers may process data in countries other than yours. Where the law requires it, we use appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses. If your data must stay in your own environment, talk to us about an on-premises deployment.

Children#

The Service is for developers and businesses and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes#

We will post changes here and update the date above. If a change materially reduces your privacy, we will notify account holders by email before it takes effect.
